“My approach to art & design is very open. I believe that having no material boundaries in the creative process can only be a constructive thing. I try to learn as much about other disciplines as I can. A design for a piece can be inspired and formulated from observing and working with anything e.g paint, clay, printing, photography, CAD etc. Keeping an open mind to try something new is important to me. I enjoy exploring new ways of working, seeing how other people work, finding their inspiration and resolving issues which emerge in the course of making. Innovation and good design is everything, but only if the object is well constructed and finished to a high standard.”
